This is a step by step guide for registering on CA.com to gain access to product downloads and case management on CA Support Online which they are entitled for as a CA Customer along with the access to CA.com, CA Communities.
When enrolling for the Enterprise User Access the user needs to know their Customer ID associated with their entitled products, also known as Enterprise Site ID or simply Site ID . These advanced access requests are reviewed and processed within 24 to 48 hours.
If user only registered for Basic Access during initial registration, then they would have access to limited content on CA Support Online (support.ca.com).
Enterprise access allows users to manage cases, access premium content, download products and much more.
1.Open a browser and go to CA.com
2.Click “Sign In” as shown below
3.Click on “Register Now” as shown below:
4.“Basic Access” is the default option when registering on CA.com as below :
In order to register as Enterprise User, please check the “CA Support” option as below :
5.Fill in the fields that marked with an asterisk (*) and update all fields under the “Basic Access Information” ,“Company/Location information” as below :
6.Then complete the “Support Access Information” by selecting "Enterprise Access" from the "Type of Customer ID" drop menu:
7. After selecting "Enterprise Support Access"
- Enter appropriate "Enterprise Site ID"
- If you you are not sure of the Enterprise Site ID, please review document "What is a Site Id and where can i get one?"
- Specify the Preferred Contact Method
- Select the Language you prefer
- Provide a brief Comment about the Enterprise Access request
Example: I am an employee implementing product on this site. Need Enterprise access to download the software.
- Click “Register Now” to submit the request
9.After the request is submitted, user will be presented with the on-screen message as below and the registration request will be sent for processing:
10.Once the first part of the registration request has been processed, user will receive the Confirmation Email (as below) from CA Info and user MUST click on or copy the link to a browser in order complete registration and kick-off enterprise registeration process.
Note: Remember to check Spam or Junk mail boxes if the Confirmation Email is not in In-box.
11.Once initial part of the registration process completed, the user will be presented with the below on-screen message:
12.User is now ready to log into CA.com:
13.After logging into CA.com for the first time, user will be presented the "Terms and Conditions" as below. Please review the "Terms and Conditions" using the scroll bar inside the sub view and click "Continue" to acknowledge:
14. After logging in you will see the status of your "Enterprise Registration" clicking "My Profile" under "My Account" as below:
15.Click “CA Support” tab as below:
User should receive the Enterprise Access to CA Online Support within 24 to 48 hours after completing initial registration, please contact Customer Care team if assistance is needed.
