CA Technologies is pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) of CA Performance Management r3.1. This release includes the General Availability (GA) of value-added software modules, CA Mediation Manager r3.1 and CA Virtual Network Assurance r2.1. Together, this network performance platform solution marks CA’s entry into the SD-WAN Assurance space.  As enterprise companies continue to move workload to the Cloud, the WAN (wide area network) is increasingly the weak link in the chain.  SD-WAN is a critical enabler for an operational application economy, and thus, assuring an optimal SD-WAN is paramount for enterprise network operators.

In addition to SD-WAN Assurance, this release also includes:

Operational UI Features

·       New intuitive visualizations for Network and IT operators, including:

o   GeoMap View

o   Health Card View

o   Time Bar Trend View

o   Hierarchical Inventory View

o   Integrated View of External Apps

Cisco ACI Enhancements

·       The relationship topology view in the Cisco ACI Console now has health indicators and filtering

·       TCAM (Ternery Content-Addressable Memory) is a critical resource in Cisco ACI fabric and through feedback from early adopters of Cisco ACI, we are introducing this important KPI to assure the ACI fabric

OpenAPI third-Party Interoperability

·       OpenAPI in r3.1 is enhanced with the ability to aggregate metrics leading for richer integration with leading 3rd party reporting solutions

Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)

·       A first of a series of new High Availability features, DRP consists of scripts and procedure to setup a secondary instance with periodic synchronization and a process for recovery
