CA Technologies is pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) of CA Performance Management r3.1. This release includes the General Availability (GA) of value-added software modules, CA Mediation Manager r3.1 and CA Virtual Network Assurance r2.1. Together, this network performance platform solution marks CA’s entry into the SD-WAN Assurance space. As enterprise companies continue to move workload to the Cloud, the WAN (wide area network) is increasingly the weak link in the chain. SD-WAN is a critical enabler for an operational application economy, and thus, assuring an optimal SD-WAN is paramount for enterprise network operators.

Feature Highlight – Operational UI Features
As in every release of CA Performance Management, we continue to advance in Operational UI features to help network operators get to the relevant information faster. In this release, we are introducing new visualization to help users find the interesting data faster. Health Card views help users to determine how many items are healthy and at risk. New Time Bar views pinpoint exceptions and allow users to drill in for fine grain details. App Views allow users to view external applications alongside native performance data. Hierarchical Inventory views address new layering architectures in SDN and SD-WAN. And OpenAPI Aggregation Metrics add flexibility to integration with third-party tools and external app development.
