CA Technologies is pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) of CA Mediation Manager r3.1. This release aligns with the General Availability (GA) of CA Performance Management r3.1. Together the solution achieves another exciting milestone delivering innovative carrier-class network performance management for communications service providers and enterprises with mega-sized networks.
The release introduces new device packs as well as critical bug fixes.
New Device Pack for CA Performance Management
The following device packs are developed in this release of CA Mediation Manager 3.1 for CA Performance Management
CASonusGSX9000
This device pack collects the performance metrics of SonusGSX device from Oracle database and shows the metrics in CAPM. For example, The performance metrics such as GsxCallCountStats, GsxCongestionIntervalStats, GsxGatewayCallStats, and GsxSystemStats.
CASonusPSX
This device pack collects the performance metrics of SonusPSX device from Oracle database and shows the metrics in CAPM.
For example, The performance metrics such as PsxPolicyRequestStats, PsxHostFileUsage, PsxSoftSwitchStats.
CA SonuxSGX
This device pack collects the performance metrics of SonusSGX device from Oracle database and shows the metrics in CAPM.
For example, The performance metrics such as SgxSccpStats, SgxTcapUtilStats.
CA Ceragon
This device pack collects the performance metrics of Ceragon EMS device from CSV data and shows the metrics in CAPM.
For example, The performance metrics such as Power Levels IP -10/20, MSE, and Ethernet Statistics/Utilization.
CA Spectrum
This device pack collects the performance metrics of CA Spectrum servers that are configured under the oneClick server and shows the metrics in CAPM.
CA RuckusSCG
This device pack collects the performance metrics of Ruckus wireless Smartcell gateway 3.x device from CSV data and shows the metrics in CAPM.
For example, The performance metrics such as All Access Points, Mobility Zone, and Control Blade.
New Device Pack for CA Spectrum
The following device pack is developed in this release of CA Mediation Manager 3.1 for Spectrum:
CA Nokia5620Sam_Spectrum
This device pack subscribes to Nokia5620SAM JMS channel to receive Fault events messages and reports to CA Spectrum which is an enterprise fault monitoring solution.

Please review the Release Notes completely before installing, including the Special Considerations and Install Instructions sections. It is important to note that a backup of the CA MM system(s) being updated prior to r3.1 installation should be created, as a best practice and fall back method.
