I am posting a copy of Advisory that was just distributed today in order to make sure you acknowledge a very important notice.

 

 

CA - PROACTIVE NOTIFICATION - CAUIM - ADVISORY - ACAUIM-100496

Dear CA Customer:

The purpose of this Advisory is to inform you of an expired license problem that has been recently identified with Unified Reports in UIM.

Please follow the instructions provided to avoid being impacted by this license expiration.

 

PRODUCT(S) AFFECTED: Unified Reports in UIM          

RELEASE: 7.6 and newer

 

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

On Saturday, September 30, 2017, the standard license for Unified Reporter will expire.

On that date, customers accessing Unified Reports will receive the following message:

License Failed

Invalid license. Professional Commercial license expired

===================================================

 

IMPACT:
This impacts any new or existing install of Unified Reports, UIM version notwithstanding.

Customers using Unified Reports will not be able to access them unless they follow the steps below to install a new license.
 

PROBLEM RESOLUTION:
Installation of an updated license is required for continued use of Unified Reports. To install the new license:

1. Obtain the wasp_unified_reports_license package from the probe Archive.

2. Use Admin Console or Infrastructure Manager to deploy the wasp_unified_reports_license package to the robot where Unified Reporter is installed.

3. If your license has already expired, log out and then log back in to UMP to restore functionality.

4. For iReport: After replacing the Unified Reporter License, please follow the instructions found here:
