CA Test Data Manager is Moving to Its Own Community!

Oct 30, 2017 01:23 PM

Hi DevTest Community Members!

CA Test Data Manager is going to be moving out of the DevTest community in the next few weeks. This doc will walk you through how to prepare for the move if you'd like to keep receiving updates on CA TDM.

TDM is moving to it's own community

CA Test Data Manager is moving out of the DevTest community and into its own community. This new community will cover just CA Test Data Manger, and will make finding information and receiving updates about CA TDM much easier, while keeping the DevTest community focused on just the products that fall within the DevTest solutions umbrella.

So, how will this change impact you?

If you would like to continue to receive updates on Test Data Manager:

  • Head to the new "CA Test Data Manager" community (https://communities.ca.com/community/ca-test-data-manager/pages/overview) and click "Follow" to ensure you will get all announcements from that community moving forward.
  • Once the move is complete, please start posting all CA TDM content to the new space (don't forget to add "CA Test Data Manager" and "CA TDM" as tags!)
  • If you'd still like to receive DevTest & TDM updates in the same place, you can always set up a "follow a tag" stream for CA TDM, CA SV, and CA App Test so you can get updates for all the products in one stream. Info on how to set up a stream on a product tag can be found here: Following a Tag.

As always, there is still the option to follow content via your inbox or activity streams.

Want to learn more about how to set up custom activity streams? Read this: Creating Custom Streams or watch this video: How to Create a Custom Stream. Here's more reading:  News and Streams. And this doc will walk you through the process of adding a tag to a custom stream: Following a Tag
