CA Automation Point 11.6 Beta Registration Announcement

As part of the latest CA Automation Point development initiative, the team has opened the AP 11.6 project at CA Validate.  The AP 11.6 project is targeted to run from August 2018 until January 2019. 

Below are some of the items that we are currently working on or considering for the 11.6 release:

  • Replace obsolete CA NSM Event Manager Interface componentry
  • Deliver new CA UIM Alert Management Interface
  • Increase 3270 Session Limit from 64 to 128
  • Auditing, Logging, Tracing Enhancements
  • Improve Stability and Performance
  • Security Enhancements
  • Increase 3270 Session Limit from 64 to 128
  • Community Idea 235735517 – Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Community Idea 235731253 – Speech Notification Client Optional Install
  • Community Idea 235734479 – Remote Viewer Session Custom Colorization
  • Community Idea 235717335 – Change Distributed REXX Programs to have .REX File Extension
  • Community Idea 235738327 – AP to OPS/MVS Interface – Distributed CCI – Unlimited Connections

 

CA Automation Point 11.6 Validation Program

All AP customers are encouraged to participate in shaping the direction of the 11.6 release.  Again, the AP 11.6 project is targeted to run from August 2018 until January 2019.   The 11.6 project is now open and ready for applicants to register at CA Validate

Participant benefits include:

  • Help ensure new features and functionality meet your business requirements.
  • Give you the opportunity to recommend functional modifications that increase value to your business before the technology becomes generally available.
  • Work directly with AP product managers and engineers to identify how the technology can be enhanced and leveraged in your specific environment.
  • Provide your lines of business with knowledge about the improvements you are making to deliver enhanced service levels by partnering with strategic vendors.
  • Review and influence improvements in documentation, installation methods, and integration opportunities that improve your business operations.
  • Enhance your relationship with AP engineering so that best practice techniques can be leveraged in your environment.
