In this session, we will demo how to integrate CA Datacom and Hadoop using open source components as well as Veristorm. CA Technologies associate software engineer Michael Tinker will provide an overview of Hadoop and talk about setting up a testbed environment. Then we will use the CA Datacom Server option to import a CA Datacom table into both Hive, a Hadoop data warehouse, as well as HBase, a NoSQL Hadoop database. We will also survey some future ways in which CA Datacom and Hadoop might cooperate to perform key business functionality.
