CA Plex C++ client applications offer you a choice of WinWidget or MFC controls.  While these controls get the job done, they don’t provide the modern look and feel that your users expect.  For years, we have just assumed that there was nothing we could do about this, short of migrating our client applications to .Net.  Get ready to get excited.  There is a better solution, and it’s free! George Jeffcock published a document that shows how you can change your Plex linker settings, to manipulate your manifest file, resulting in the implementation of Windows 7 style controls in your C++ functions.  There are some technical issues you will face in this endeavor, and this presentation will show you how to overcome these issues.  With some minor modifications to your Standards layer, you can magically give your existing Plex C++ client applications a fresh new Windows 7 look and feel that your users will love!  Please join me for this exciting presentation and get ready to give your CA Plex applications a fresh new look and feel with little to no effort!
