The user interface in the web browser based Service Desk Manager client is outdated. We would like the convenience of Microsoft Office-like document editing. This type of document editing includes such things as font options, paragraph formatting, paragraph bulleting, paragraph numbering, and image (screen capture) pasting, among other things. This would also include warning the user before closing SDM and warning before a ticket in progress is closed without saving. Such a client update should also include the ability to load multiple attachments at a time to the ticket. Finally this kind of client update should allow "on-the-fly" additions to the spell check list of words like modern word processors can do.
d) Describe how you envision this new feature being implemented.
This would require a whole re-development of the SDM client. A better solution would be to develop a thick client for power users of SDM.
e) Are you willing to formally beta test this new functionality?
