It would be nice to have the possibility of creating fields with encrypted data. Eg. for storing passwords on Configuration Items, that we can not store in clear text.
I was just in a meeting where this was discussed as a possible requirement feature for one of our applications. This would greatly benefit those of us using Service Desk in the medical and financial sectors.
Selective Encryption "Out of the Box" without customization would support compliance discussion related to GDRP.

Excellent idea, especially for environments with higher security requirements. Today, we rely on encrypted attachments for sensitive data that cannot be stored in the record.
