We are using SDM 12.5.
A user with global knowledge manager access, when she tries to open a knowledge article that does not exist, she receives "AHD05072: Security settings prevent viewing this record", when using administrator id to search for the same article, SDM 12.5 returns with "Not found".
CA Support advises that this is due to data partitions that are in place for the global knowledge manager access type and that this is not a bug, CA Support has further advised that we can request for an enhancement which we have done so. We request for an enhancement for SDM to display the correct message such as "document not found" and not the permission message "AHD05072: Security settings prevent viewing this record" which is misleading to the user when she was trying to display a knowledge article that does not exist.
The "AHD05072: Security settings prevent viewing this record" gave her the impression that she does not have the permission to view the document, instead she should be returned with the correct message from CA Service Desk Manager that the document is not found.
CA Support has further informed that CA Service Desk Manager Product Management Team will review this enhancement and advised us to put an idea here with communities.ca.com.
