Need a button to request on behalf of another person when opening a Service desk ticket for Self Service Users. Currently this option is available for Analyst view.
The organization I work for is in Healthcare and this is an option that has been requested many times by our users. We often have support staff on the floor logging a ticket for medical staff, for example a floor secretary enters a ticket about a physician having an issue. Currently she has to put the ticket in her name, which slows the process of contacting the correct user.
Now you can make this option available from Role Based Views. For making available, follow the steps:
1 - Manage -> Tools
2 - Select 'Role Based View'
3 - Select 'SSU View For Service Request'
4 - Find the section 'Requested For'
5 - Select the checkbox on Show column
While this is similar to "Requested For" field in USS for one-click service it is different in that it is specific to SDM (vs Catalog). Therefore, this idea is being Wish-Listed for potential inclusion in a future release
