Voting up - seems fair.
As a workaround, you could add them to the Scoreboard.
Service Desk tab, File, Customize Scoreboard.
You'll need to work to build the Stored Query, which is not as easy as using the dropdowns, but it should work.
You may be able to use the Browser Developer Tools to see which query is being passed back from the browser, to give you a leg up on which fields to use to construct the query.
I'm voting up too -- (Although I thought there was already a previous idea out there for this one). While a workaround might be to create stored queries, they can only be created by an administrator (not an analyst), and we certainly don't want to create that many stored queries to satisfy the various searching needs of a thousand analysts. Being able to save your searches for future use would be an extremely useful thing!
