With CA1 we can update the volume by range of volume but not with TLMS. We should have this possibility for TLMS too via UPV command.

We are considering this for the next release of TLMS. The use of VOLSER ranges will probably be restricted to batch jobs. The processing would appear as series of one VOLSER commands so that results for each volume could be seen.
ex. UPV volser-volser ATL(IBM, 2)
CA TLMS Development
VOLSER ranges for most CATINQR commands are available in CA TLMS 14.0. The ranges are processed as if a command was issued for each VOLSER in the range. VOLSER ranges are only available for CATINQR in batch so that the results for each VOLSER can be displayed.
CA TLMS 14.0 is an incremental release. This feature is available in INC00 which is the base increments.
