we require the certification/official support of ForgeRock OpenDJ version 3.x by CA SiteMinder/Single-Sign On 12.52 SP1 and SP2.
We use OpenDJ for our user store as successor of ODSEE.
Thanks and kind regards,
As Product Manager at ForgeRock, covering OpenDJ, I would really love to see this happening.

Has there been any decision made if OpenDJ will be certified?
Managing SiteMinder for a large automotive customer, I would love to see OpenDJ support as well. This would give us another option for clients looking into moving towards Forgerock products.
We might also end up in a situation where we need to make OpenDJ work with SiteMinder ...
OpenDJ works with SiteMinder... But SiteMinder is not supported when using it.
Which may leave customers in a state where their legacy directory server is no longer supported or Siteminder is not... And that is definitely opening the door for changing both !
It's been about 6 months that this suggestion has been made, can we expect an answer from the CA Single Sign-On Product Management team ?
It depends on the use cases if OpenDJ works with SiteMinder and how smooth the migration to OpenDJ will be. Dynamic groups cannot be used with OpenDJ because SiteMinder has some kind of mechanism to detect the directory server and only enables the dynamic group support for a very limited amount of directories (OpenDJ is not recognized as such a product).
Thus, a certification by CA and the official support (including features like dynamic groups) for OpenDJ is desirable.

Your input is vital to that effort. The CA Single Sign-On Product Management team has reviewed your suggested enhancement. Based on current roadmap priorities and/or the limited amount of community support for this idea over the last year (please see this document describing how we are reviewing ideas: https://communities.ca.com/docs/DOC-231170123), we are not accepting this idea into the product backlog. Therefore, it is being moved to a “Not Planned” status.
Thank you for a definitive answer, almost 3 years after the request.
