It would be good that in USM create notes by default and these notes could be assigned to alerts. This functionality already existed in the old alarm console and I.M. What I ask is that this functionality will not disappear.
Customer wants is able to create and attach note to the UIM alarm. Is this is right understanding?
I have seen, this is normally achieved thru the note/additional description section in the integrated service desk tool like service aide or service now.
Only reason for having this functionality on UIM which I could think of is that UIM is not integrated with any service desk.
That being said, I would like to understand the use case better.
We need to attach predefined notes to certain alerts, permanently. We have created a table (PRIV_NOTE_HISTORY) that stores this information (see https://communities.ca.com/thread/241724888) and then we use this information to obtain reports. In USM it is not possible to attach notes. We need the same functionality in USM as if we have IM.
