Today is not possible to update a workflow task using maileater for cr workflow and chg workflow.
A typical request that I hear for this feature:
"As an approver of Requests in an organisation that uses CA Service Desk Manager, I want to be able to signify my approval to a request by replying to a notification email that originates from a classic workflow task. Currently I have to access the workflow task URL in the notification message, log on to SDM, edit the workflow task, select the 'Approved' status, save the edit and log off from SDM. Implementing this feature would streamline the approval process."
Not Sure about the difficulties in providing this feature, but like in SDM ticket approval feature via email, we might as well would be able to create rules around the mail eater to capture the workflow tasks status to be updated accordingly.
I vote for this one.
