Can JCLCHECK be updated to validate the datasets within the control cards when using ADRDSSU? JCLCHECK currently does not support this and reports on datasets not being found when they do exist.
interesting, it's kinda opposite for me, parses this JCL fine with RC 0. We are on V12, z/os 2.2
//BACKUPD EXEC PGM=ADRDSSU//BACK DD DSN=GID796.CDCCNTLM.CDCTEST1.JC.N,// DISP=(NEW,CATLG),SPACE=(CYL,(10,10),RLSE)//** DISP=(NEW,CATLG),SPACE=(CYL,(10,10),RLSE),RETPD=90//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*//SYSIN DD * DUMP - OUTDD(BACK) - CANCELERROR - COMPRESS - TOLERATE(ENQFAILURE) - WAIT(2,2) - SPHERE - DATASET( - INCLUDE(WCP.UNIT.JCL, - OSD.PROD.JOBLIB, - IMS3.DBA.HANDOVER.JCL, - ))
B U T if I add in a dataset that does NOT exist, it fails to report that, and still gives RC=0
So seems as if something needs to happen in this area . . . .
