Group Required Options

    Service Desk has the following options which when installed the group on the ticket becomes mandatory and tickets cannot be saved unless the group field has a value:

     

    NX_REQUIRE_INCIDENT_GROUP
    Options Manager option. When set prevents saving an incident without a group

     

    NX_REQUIRE_ISSUE_GROUP 
    Options Manager option. When set prevents saving an issue without a group 

     

    NX_REQUIRE_PROBLEM_GROUP 
    Options Manager option. When set prevents saving a problem without a group 

     

    NX_REQUIRE_REQUEST_GROUP 
    Options Manager option. When set prevents saving a request without a group 

     

    NX_REQUIRE_CHANGE_GROUP
    Options Manager option. When set prevents saving a change order without a group

     

    Observations:

    We noted that after these options are installed, the animator and events linked to the active tickets where the group was not set, prior to installing the options start causing locks on the system. You will notice the following messages in the stdlog:

    Enhancement:

    The system should prevent you from installing the options if there are tickets already created with no groups.
