ainda02, I basically have the same need.
In our company, we are doing a lot of File Transfers between Agents in our DMZ zone and Agents in our internal network.
We have hundreds of agents (OS agents s well as FTP Agents) in our DMZ zone where we both receive files from external partners and also send file to external partners.
Do you see any solutions to this challenge or are you able to think of ways to improve your products so that we do not need to create all those firewall changes?
hope you are doing well.
I completely agree that this would be a very useful enhancement to our file transfer capabilities.
It would require quite a significant re-architecture of the proxy and file transfer components as the proxy is not really designed to handle the volumes of data for this use case.
I think the idea needs some support from the community as that helps with prioritising.
Yes, thanks :-)
Both Netarea and Proxy seem to provide the same capability (connecting Agents with CPs), bud sadly there is no solution in place to bridge Agent-to-Agent File Transfers through a firewall.
I'm going to vote for this Idea because this is a feature we are looking for as well.
