Customer would like to use NTLM or Kerberos to access Workstation and Portal so that he doesn't have to insert any password manually.
Unfortunately, I don't have access to an environment to verify this. However, I believe if you configure ActiveDirectory as the authentication provider, you will not be prompted for credentials by Workstation.
If I have a chance to experiment with this, I'll let you know the outcome.
Hi Mike, this is a Intesa SanPaolo security requirement opened because the SV authentication method was considered not secure. They requested a derogatory to their security governance team to go haed with open Api Project, nevertheless if we wiil not be able to provide a solution they will have to dismiss our SV platform. I hope your suggestion will applicable as soon as possible. Let we know please.
thanks for the suggestion.
I used authentication-providers.xml (togheter with ldap-mapping.xml) but I still had to insert userid/password manually in both Workstation and Portal.
Looking forward to knowing the result of your test, maybe I missed some switch.
