Using /PSM I tried to delete old reports up to a date (Option A.CS). This create a hang in MAI. No users could log on, no users could switch sessions, MAI did not respond to MODIFY commands. Users in a current session were unaffected. Forced to CANCEL Solve:MAI. We had to take a production outage.
Created an incident, and was told that eventually Solve would have caught up and all would have been fine. We had waited over 20 minutes and it WASN'T fine.
