Does anyone know about Spectrum Mobile that was supposed to be release with Spectrum 9.4? Is it in beta right now?
I'm not aware that something like Spectrum Mobile was officially announced. It was mentioned as being planned and beta testing had started (see this Idea: Mobile OneClick), but I haven't seen any commitment to a specific release.
Beta testing is under progress. Expected GA in 9.4.1 hopefully.
The CA Spectrum Mobile Dashboard is now available as part of CA Spectrum v9.4.1.
CA Spectrum 9.4.1 is released and available for download from the support.ca.com Download Product area. As expected, the following is the key content within this release:
Posted to the CA Spectrum product home page is the News announcement along with a 9.4.1 FAQs document with details of the release. Go tohttp://www.ca.com/us/support/ca-support-online/support-by-product/ca-spectrum.aspx on Select the News drop-down on the right.
Why is the Spectrum 9.4.1 a TXE file?
TXE stand for Trusted Extension. Spectrum for Linux and Solaris use this type of extension.
CA Spectrum 9.4.1 for Windows.exe - GEN10121554M.exe
CA Spectrum 9.4.1 for Solaris.txe - GEN10121632M.txe
CA Spectrum 9.4.1 for Linux.txe - GEN10121716M.txe
Do I just tar or gzip the file on your spectrum or oneclick server and run setuplin.exe from there? I want to upgrade my Spectro and OneClick server from 9.4 to 9.4.1 to take advantage of Spectrum Mobile
Have you tried running the GEN10121716M.txe file?
./GEN10121716M.txe (for example)
