  • 1.  Is anyone running 14.1 in production?

We're currently on 13.0 and planning an upgrade (obviously). As we were nearing the end of last year we were planning on waiting for 14.2 but since that has come and gone without a peep that I'm aware of, we're know back to determining whether to go to 13.3 or 14.1. Originally we were avoiding 14.1 since the direction back then was there would be no patches for 14.1 and was advised to upgrade it to 14.2 as soon as it was available and we wanted to avoid two rapid succession upgrades. If we go with 13.3 we likely wouldn't upgrade to 14.2 (I suppose 15.1 now?) any time soon after that.

Does anyone know if the "no patch for 14.1" stance has changed at all or is that still the plan?

Any word on when we can expect the next release (14.2/15.1)?

Is anyone actually using 14.1 in production and what has been your experience with it?

I think Georgy posts suggest that his organizations has upgraded to v14.1

    Hi Urmas,

Thanks for tagging me here. Yes, we have upgraded to v14.1 but only in our DEV environment which is an Apache Tomcat single server. The upgrade went very smooth with no issues. Just like Elias, we were also waiting for the release of v14.2 towards the end of 2014, but now we decided to go for v14.1 itself.

Right now we are doing the upgrade of the STAGING environment which is an Apache Tomcat cluster, just to make sure nothing goes wrong during v14.1 upgrade of a clustered clarity environment. This will be our last step before we go for the Production upgrade to v14.1.

    Regards,

    Georgy
