  • 1.  Will BOE no longer be supported at of this year (Dec. 31, 2015)?

I heard that CA will no longer support BOE at end of this year. (Dec. 31, 2015)? They are going to replace with Jaspersoft Reporting tool? I have never heard of it? What is that like? Very similar to Crystal Reports? Will Jaspersoft Reporting tool go with Clarity 14.1? What about Clarity 13.3? Right now, we have Clarity 13.1 and we are going to upgrade Clarity 13.3 very soon. Just planning ahead.

    Thanks,

    Kristn

The longer it takes 14.2 or 15.1 to come out the longer they will have to support BO.

So far, there is no flexibility in extending the EOL of BO . . . it is still 12/31, regardless of when Jaspersoft is available (now it is March 2015).

My understanding is that it is not related to the new CA PPM version coming out, but SAP support on that version of BO.

Does that mean the Xcelsius will no longer be available?  We are using version 13.3 and are hoping to design dashboard using Xcelsius. But if Business Object will be no longer what will replace Xcelsius?
