  • 1.  Identity Minder calls external web service

    Hi,

I would like to validate a use case (functionality) with you that

if the latestest IdentityMinder can trigger calls to external web service accounts (ESB based applications).

I know applications can call IDM through TEWS but I am not sure if IDM can call applications. (via web services)

If it is possible, can you send me the link in documentation or bookshelf for implementing this?

    Thanks and regards,
    Eric

CA Identity Manager Bookshelf is where I always start.  There's a couple of different guides that touch on the subject: Administration, Connectors, and Programming might be the best places to look first.

You can always write a java BLTH or Event Listener.

I believe your requirement is to treat ESB based application as one of the target system for IDM, correct ? Then it will involve provisioning and connector server components.

In this scenario you can write a java based custom connector to call the webservice for user provisioning.

    Thanks
