Hi Monika, Thanks for the help. It worked
This is great community effort to help each other.
Can I bother both of you with a question? Would it be possible for you to share the specific use cases you guys had that required you to save the result set in csv file?
In my previous project also we faced the same situation where we need the complete result of sequel query in csv. For that we wrote a code in Scripted Step and used that to achieve our goal. But it would be good if there is some sort of check box in existing step or functionality that allow us to export result in csv or xls from query result.
Sure Arif. Thanks for the question.
I was creating a framework to test Stored Procedures, so for future reference/regression testing i need to to save result set in excel sheet for comparison.
Initially I wrote a code to do the same but because it was taking more execution time and needed to be reused , I ended up creating a custom filter.
Hope that answers your question.
I want export my project into excel or xml format instead of .dtt format in devtest, please could you help me for same
