  • 1.  EE_Auth Failed. Unable to login to CA SDM

    Hi,

    I am getting below error in stdlog:

    05/19 08:16:58.69 casdm001   bopauth_nxd      4348 ERROR    eiamAuth.c         457 Error authenticating user: 'casdmuser5' - EE_AUTHFAILED Authentication FailedISE_ERROR_UNKNOWN unknown isponsor error

    05/19 08:16:58.70 casdm001  

     

    		boplgin          4372 ERROR    bplaccess.c       4278 AHD04043:The user name or password you entered is not correct. Please try again.

     

    Please help on this.

    Hi Saravana,

     

    Were you able to login to EEM page with the user casdmuser5? Do you see same error? Is the EEM pointed to local store or LDAP? What had changed recently? Does open allow authentication setting works fine for SDM?

    When login EEM with casdmuser, the same error is coming. SDM is working fine with open allow access. It is user store reference from Siteminder. It was working. But not now

    What had changed recently if the user store reference siteminder worked fine? Does local store users able to login? This helps us to isolate the issue.

    Hi Naveen,

     

    I installed Siteminder web agent in SDM server and configured Agent configuration object. Then I created application in Siteminder to protect CAisd/pdmweb.exe

     

    But when I am accessing using IIS it is prompting AD authentication prompt. Thats different issue. But when I access using 8080, I am getting login page, then if I login with casdmuser it is not login. Giving EEM error said above in stdlog.

     

    If I am login using Open allow access local user, it is logging in.

     

    Please help me on this.

    How are doing your EEM Services?

     

    Do you try connect with another tool like JExplorer? (JXplorer - an open source LDAP browser)

    Thank you Tiago MACUL

     

    I created a new user in AD as "mysduser3" and able to login EEM using "mysduser3" now

     

    But when i login CASDM, it throwing an error as AHD04042:Login failed for userid(mysduser3); login timed out

     

    My challenge here is,i dont have access to xyz.com for where i have to provide NTLM authentication for CASDM which resides in abc.com

     

    All the docs help to do SSO for same domain wherein CASDM is installed.

     

    The external customer xyz.com provided LDAP access by 389 port only. They won't allow any agent to be in xyz.com domain. But they want SSO for CASDM from their Windows domain.

     

    Please direct me to get this acheived
