Can an auto-operator be configured to close an event that's not been updated in the last 60 minutes?

I'm trying to create an auto-operator that will auto-acknowledge stale events that have not been updated in the last hour. These are mainly events like traps that do not send a CLEAR. The only time-related option I see in the auto-operator setup panel is based on event arrival time, but if the situation is still occurring, I don't want to close the event.

Has anyone done something similar to this?

    Thanks,

Using AOs isn't really the best way to achive this in my opinion. Similar topic was discussed recently at clearing alerts which not updated for last X time
