    The "IDMS for the New DBA - Mentor Led Training" has been posted on the IUA/EIUA Community for the benefit of IDMS users. There are no copyright issues for the course materials - the only consideration is that the Employee Demo Database, which is used for the hands on exercises, is CA Copyright material (acknowledged in the Mentor Led Training material). So there are no issues for a qualified DBA using the material as a "mentor" in the type of training situation outlined in the course, or for an IDMS User to ask a "mentor" to provide New DBA Training using the "Mentor Led" course as a guide.     You can find a list of all the CA IDMS Education offerings here:

    They are all fee-based Web-based trainings; the list includes several DBA-related topics: security, database maintenance, etc.

     

    On the CA Support Online site, after signing on, you can also find the following:

    Also, if you use the 'Documents' tab under this community, on page 2 you'll find many ppts posted by Carla Perreira on Dec 17, 2014. These are the PowerPoint files for presentations at the IDMS Technology Conference last December; they may be helpful.
