That is beating around the bush. Why don't you say the answer is NO?

Would XOG give a choice of which instances to delete, while I don't think the job does.

That's a great point urmas and I think you should raise an idea of exclude certain instance in the job.

    Hi @Dulan Dalugama

How many process instance you are trying to delete, can you try to delete for a data range and see if that works?

Hi Anant, as per my understanding, XOG either overrides or create new instance of the object. Don't think, it will be useful for deletion.

.. unless you use complete/completed="true" where applicable. That deletes those instances that are not listed in the xml file.

For some other items (not process instances) there are some examples buried among the forum threads:

Can we - Delete InvestmentAssociations Hierarchies via XOG

    Delete InvestmentAssociations Hierarchies via XOG

Remove resources from a security group using XOG

Remove instance level access rights using XOG

If you scan the contents of the xsd folder of your XOG client installation for 'iscomplete' 'complete' 'completed' and 'delete' (different attribute names or keywords are used by different XOG object handlers) you will find some further references to other objects which may support this capability too.
