Hello,

We are looking for an option where vendor managers can help Resource managers in allocation. Vendor managers will be assigning and allocating only their contractors to relevant projects.

As of now we have a job which defaults the Resource manager and booking manager to same person.  If we remove that option and give the vendor manager  to be the booking manager what are the things that we need to be careful about.

1. With booking manager on will both RM and booking manager have access to allocate the resources?
2. If the booking manager is blank would it still give RM access to allocate?
3. Anything else to consider

1. No, Only resource manager will be able to allocate (if they have navigate right from other source)

2. yes, since RM has rights to do so

3. booking manager is really only used for requisitions

Here's some "research" for those interested:

The test manager and resource were blank users, no groups or any other rights so keep in mind you do need at least resource navigate to allocate.
