Clarity

I am new to CA PPM and having come across the CA Communities I have a few questions which I needed answers for.

Do you think you can help me get answers to the following?

1. Are there any restrictions on the amount of data (e.g. 56 plans or one plan with 56 sections each with 15 milestones – 840 milestones) you can load into CLARITY ?
2. Can you download your data from CLARITY to Data Core at your request or are there set times for downloads ?

Not sure of the version of Clarity but its very old.

As to (1), the basic answer is "No". Clarity can handle many thousands of "plans" (projects) with many thousands of records, be they tasks, milestones, risks, issues, etc.  The limitation would be no your database server hardware.

As to (2), the basic answer is "yes", depending on what and how you want to download.
