    Hi Team,

I am new to CA tools and am trying to do an integration between HP UCMDB and CA CMDB.

I am looking for a folder in Ca CMDB with the below path to copy the lib files into HP folder.

    %NX_ROOT%\Java\Lib

Request you to please let me know where to find this folder? Is this the same as Service Desk folder which we have? Not sure where the CA CMDB resides.

    Thank you.

    Hello Verghese,

    Greetings!

Yes, the %NX_ROOT%\Java\Lib folder is the same as Service Desk Folder. CA CMDB is part of SD, prior to 12.x, it was separate entity.

Additional Note: the folder %NX_ROOT%\java\lib contains general java files for SD and grloader

Hope the above answers your query.

    Best Regards,

    Hamza Sirajuddin

    Hi Team,

We were able to push the CIs from HP UD as per the logs but we do not see the pushed data in CA CMDB. However I did find some errors in the log files as below:

    jvm 1
    | <2015-12-08 11:23:24,873>

    5139414 [WARN ] [AdHoc:AD_HOC_TASK_PATTERN_ID-16-1449591426488]

    I
also found the following kind of error repeated that I

searched and in the CA communities there is the recommendation to check the

    Access Type you are using.

    In
the Role tab check that you have a role with sufficient

privileges in both SOAP Web Service API Role and Command Line

    Utility Role. https://communities.ca.com/thread/241696666

    additional information available)

Can anyone help me on this error. We need to view the CI that was pushed from HP UD into CA CMDB. Is there something we need to do on the CA CMDB end?

    Please advise.

    Thank you.

    Regards

    Hi,

I have just made this integration it pushes CI's to cmdb. I think you have issue about integration user you defined in integration point.

So suggest you giving more privilige to that user or you can give directly admin role.

I hope that solution solves your problem.

    Thanks
