    Hi Geethu:

A quick search internally does not reveal any hits.

    Thanks

    Hi Geethu,

I have been working with Ying zhoyi03 on your support case.

From your comments it looks like agent may have been uninstalled since first install as wily.Agent.dll is no longer getting loaded by any apps

The old spydus IntroscopeAgent log from Dec 7 is showing that the agent was loaded successfully with AutoProbe enabled

There are a few "Processing method" entries in the spydus Autoprobe log but they stop after some MVC references i.e.

    "[System.Web.Mvc]System.Web.Mvc.MvcHandler"

As Ying has indicated in her latest update the OOTB .NET agent does not instrument ASP.NET MVC apps and you will need Hiko's (Hiko_Davis) MVC custom Field Pack pbd that is referenced in this Community Link:

We are using CA APM 9.5.3 and I am trying to figure out how to monitor a .NET MVC application.

    ASP.NET MVC PBD

We will communicate with you today to fix up the agent install problems & then recheck the MVC side.

    Thanks

    Lynn

We now have a support solution for ASP.NET MVC. Please contact your CA Pre-sales or Services contact for a copy of this extension.

It's a full agent extension which a frontendmarker tracer to pull the MVC URLs and transaction tracing.

    Hi Hiko_Davis

I tried the MVC.pbd and got Controller ,Engine and Razor template metrics. I believe controllers are like methods and Razor templates are like JSPs (presentation layer).

I have requested for MVC full agent extension. Once I receive , I will deploy it and see.

Will the extension help to see backend calls? Currently I don't see any backend call though the app has MSSQL server as backend.
