    Hi Amir,

For Service Desk Manager 12.6, the only thing you need to do to integrate it with EEM is configure the appropriate EEM options in Service Desk Options Manager.   Once you install the EEM options, and recycle Service Desk, it will authenticate via EEM.

You can find the information about the EEM (also known as EIAM) options in Service Desk here:

    https://docops.ca.com/ca-service-management/14-1/en/troubleshooting/troubleshooting-ca-service-management/integrate-ca-service-desk-manager-with-common-components-manually/integrate-ca-service-desk-manager-with-ca-embedded-entitlements-manager-manually

Although the link above is to the 14.1 documentation, the majority of the information applies to 12.6 as well.

As a side note, please understand that 12.6 has went End of Service status as of 12/31/2015, and is no longer supported. We would recommend that you plan an upgrade to Service Desk 14.1 as soon as possible to ensure you are on a supported platform.

    Thanks,

    Jon I.

Jon's recommendation is the best approach.

In my point of view that's a big architectural change being introduced to a release that's already End of Support.  I would advise against this until after you've upgraded to 14.1

Checkout an old thread on this topic too Multiple AD integration with CA EEM.

also note that if you AD domains have trust relationship  there is no requirement to use EEM at all as IIS windows integration or other type like jespa for Tomcat  can both support that setup without additional configuration outside of the trust.

My question will be what authentication mechanism do your currently using in your current 12.6 setup?

    Here's my 2 cents...

Multiple LDAP integration via EEM is not supported\certified on SDM r12.6. If you want to use this approach (i.e. point EEM to multiple LDAP stores) you need to be on SDM r12.9 or above as indicated by Raghu. Considering r12.6 has reached EOS, best would be to just upgrade to a supported SDM version and try this then. If for whatever reasons you cannot upgrade to a later SDM version, your best effort would be as per Jerome's comment.

    Kind Regards,
