What drives the FROM name/address in the timesheet submitted notification?

We had a situation where a manager filled out and submitted a timesheet for their resource. He expected to see that it was from Suzy Person (SPerson@Aflac.com) or even himself, Bob Manager (BManager@aflac.com). Instead, it had the name/email of one of our administrators, Becky Lastname (BLastname@Aflac.com). Becky doesn't report to Bob or anywhere in his chain.

Where is this set? We are on Demand. v14.2 What is the logic around this?

If you are referring about email notifications there is discussion about that in

If that applies to to you then there is not much you can do.

You would have to request CA to change that.

Do you mean the discussion about setting the use default email notification? That was the item that seemed most relevant.

I am not sure if setting that would help or not. We are on demand, so I do not have access to my servers.

Does my problem sound like a bug? Should I open a ticket?

If you are referring about email notifications then that is the one I am thinking of.

As said there is not much you can do.

Opening a ticket would get your started and pointed to the right direction if the discussion does not apply.

I do not think it is bug, but the product is working as designed.
