  • 1.  How to write a metric expression to count only the EPAgent connections?

    Hi,

    We got a metric expression to count all the agent connection, but we need to count only the EPAgent connection.

     

    The original expression is

    - Metric grouping agent expression "(.*)\|Custom Metric Process \(Virtual\)\|Custom Metric Agent \(Virtual\) \(autemap0(03|04|05|06|07|12|13|14|15)nabrn\.bastest\.aurtest\.national\.com\.au@5001\)"

    - Metric expression "Enterprise Manager\|Connections:Number of Agents"

     

    I tried to change the Metric expression to count only the EPAgent connection, but it return nothing, so anyone could help me in writing this expression

    Can you post a couple examples of the full metrics you are trying to match?  It will be easier to get help if you can provide a couple examples to work with.
