Recently, a customer-user asked us to describe the steps to save only a specific page in the CA PPM product documentation available at docops.ca.com/ppmod or docops.ca.com/ppmop as a PDF file.

I wanted to share these steps with the community:

    1. In Google Chrome, navigate to any docops page.
    2. Right-click and choose Print.
    3. For Destination, choose Save as PDF. This setting is native to Chrome and requires no special configuration.
    4. Adjust the Layout, Paper Size, Margins and other options.
    5. Click Save.

Another Popular Option: If you have Word 2013 or newer, you may be surprised how well it converts PDFs to editable Word documents. Just launch Word first and then choose Open Other Documents and browse for any PDF including the full PDF included with the CA documentation when you log in to docops.ca.com. It takes a few minutes but you can now copy and paste the sections that you want and convert sections back to PDF using the Save as PDF feature native to Word.

Although these options are available, a word of caution. Updates can occur in the published docops sites as often as weekly or monthly.

    Hope this helps!

    Enjoy,

    Damon
