Recently few Resource Mangers reported the issue that they are not able to update their resource's skills and roles. On our analysis we have observed that those Resource Mangers are not having Resource - Manager(Auto) Access Right.

But as per system design Whenever the Resource Manger got changed automatically he will get Resource - Manager(Auto) Access Right.

In which circumstances by default Resource Mangers will not get this Resource - Manager(Auto) Access Right.

I've not seen auto-right problems associated with resource manager before, but in the past there have been some issues with some auto-rights.

Perhaps have a look at the application locks (PRLOCK table or securty.locks page) to see if there is anything "strange" looking.

Just to spell it out the user/resource designated as the resource manager should always get the the Resource - Manager(Auto) Access Right
