DX Application Performance Management

I have a similar question that i just posted on the forum.  I am interested in any responses to this thread.

We are just getting started using APM, does anyone have any tips or advice regarding monitoring JBoss application servers?  Any advice on creating metric calculators?

May I suggest that we use that discussion instead to avoid duplication and since I already there the field people to respond? And this one be considered closed/inactive?

This question is posed in several thread but did not get a clear answer.
JBoss middleware is much used in data centers as WebSphere, why new versions of Introscope do not embed a specific module management for JBoss as is the case for WebSphere?
JBoss JMX are not as comprehensive as the PMI WebSphere. It seems necessary to use calculators that are required to meet the same need. 

The alerts we used are set on basic metrics (Average Response Time, Stall, Errors per interval ) and technical resources like % Time spent in GC and db pool available count.
