Gantt not showing correct indent if we have summary task within another summary.

  • 1.  Gantt not showing correct indent if we have summary task within another summary.

    In my Gantt View 2nd level of summary task is not showing with correct indent.

    If i have 4 tasks like 'task','task1','task2','task3'.'task' is first level and within that task1 and task 2 are there. Within task2 i have task3.

    Task

         Task1

         Task2

              Task3

                 

    But gantt is hiding '+' symbol from task2 and task3 is not showing until i expand.

    When i click on "Move" icon there i can see task2 is having '+' icon.So may i know why I am unable to see the + icon? Please see attached image.

    Which of the tasks have is_task attribute value 1 and which do not?

    How do the Gantt bars look?

    In the Gantt chart you can create inproper indentation, but that does not explain why the + sign is not visible.

    Hi

    I have attached the another screen shot where you can see for Test1 and Test3 is_task is checked and Test and Test2 are not having is_task checked.

    OK The Gantt bars match the is Task value, but I should also, expect Tesi1 and Test3 to be more indented and Test2 to have collapse button.

    Buggish.

    Maybe the roundtrip to MS Project or OWB would fix that.  See

    I tried  the roundtrip to MS Project there it was shown with correct indent but back to clarity still the same.

    Thanks urmas but I got this resolved by  configuring the gantt view configure->Restore default.

    Kinda late to ask, but did the problem occur with more than on project?

    Apparently only with one workstation and one user ID.

    It was with one project and now all looks good.

    Hi.

     

    The "ID" field should not be in the first column. Move the "ID" field to after the "Task" field or remove it.
