Hi,

In this report, 0 hours are coming against allocation and assignment columns for a  resource who has filled timesheet (posted). Even the assignment name is not visible. Is any setting at project level required to get assignee's hours in this report for that project?

When the resource is filling timesheet for meetings etc (other work), it is showing values.

Can any one help?

Do you have Update Business Objects Report Tables job scheduled?

As Ashmi mentioned, if you are using BO, please run the Update Business Objects Table job. If you are using Jaspersoft and is on CA PPM 14.4, check this please

Is this happening against all projects/resources or only a few of them? 

Did this started happening all of a sudden, may be after an upgrade or patch? 

If its jaspersoft, I am assuming that you have ran the Load DWH job.

Jaspersoft Report

If user has filled data against "Other work" it is howing allocation and assignment values

However, Not showing values for investments.

All jobs running fine

Here is the report pre requsite. Please check and make sure you haven't missed anything.

Report Prerequisites

Verify that you have completed the following prerequisites before you run this report:

• Run the Load Data Warehouse and Load Data Warehouse Access Rights jobs before you run this report. If the Data Warehouse is not populated, the report displays a message that there are no matching records. Also, most of the report parameters do not display options.
• The resource or role must be allocated to at least one investment team for the resource, investment, and team member allocations to display in the report.
• The resource or role must be assigned to at least one investment task for the investment assignments to display in the report. For projects, the resource or role must be assigned to a task in the Gantt unless the project has an effort task with resources or roles automatically assigned. For investments other than the project, resources or roles added to the team are automatically assigned to an effort task for the investment.
  Note: Effort task is a task with the Task ID of "~rmw".
• The allocation amounts are calculated based on the time slices with the name MONTHLYRESOURCEALLOCCURVE and WEEKLYRESOURCEALLOCCURVE (Administration, Data Administration, Time Slices).
• The assignment amounts are calculated based on the time slices with the name MONTHLYRESOURCEACTCURVE and WEEKLYRESOURCEACTCURVE and MONTHLYRESOURCEESTCURVE and WEEKLYRESOURCEESTCURVE (Administration, Data Administration, Time Slices)

The resource or role must be assigned to at least one investment task for the investment assignments to display in the report. In our case, the assignment and posted hours are only on effort task and no other task is created. Can that be the reason?

Hi,

I dont think that is the issue here. Assigned to effort task should be good enough to show up in the report. 

However, to double confirm, have you double checked to see if none of the hours against effort task are showing up?

It seems as though the time slicing job is getting stuck in the "processing" stage and not updating.  If you manually run the job it will update your reports.  I am trying to determine if it is just a matter of rescheduling the time slicing job or something more serious?  We are on 14.3.0.298.  

This is not working on one environment. On others, it is working fine. However, I will check this and update.
