Try to make your packet size smaller the default is .5 Meg.  if dts does not get a response in 1 second it will think the packet failed.

Packet size not package size.  A packet is how big a chunk is sent at a time.  The way dts works is it take the package and divides it into chunks.  It sends one chunk at a time.  Once it sends it waits 1 second for a response that says the target got the chunck.  If it does not get a response in that time it assumes the packet did not make it and resends.

So in dts settings in configuration is packet size make it smaller.

Have you tried using NOS-Les rather than DTS?

    Hi Dieter,

I agree with Richard. "DTS: Default maximum parcel size" parameter should be decrease. For example you could try 131072 bytes.

This parameter should be changed in the configuration policy applied on the Domain Manager (it is not necessary to change this parameter on Scalability Server or Agents) under

    DSM/Software Delivery/File Transfer

See these technical documents for information about this parameter :

    Hi Richard,

yes i have issues on this.

I never see that DTS resume aborted download´s and sometimes Packages (UPM) was not delivered to PC.

Package size ist set to 131072.

I use DTS why I think this is the best protocol for remote pc with small bandwith.
