  • 1.  execute action/script in remote server automatically with alarm

    We want to run some remediation script automatically on problematic server whenever alarm appears on them. Is it possible to attached action/script with alarm type?

    eg. Whenever drive/disk full alarm appears, a temp file deletion script will run on remote server automatically.

    Hi,

     

    In the full UIM product you would be able to execute an action based on an alarm. 

     

    However, i'm not 100% sure what is available with snap.

    Hi Abinash, 

     

    Here is the documentation for setting up an Auto-Operator within the NAS probe.

    The nas Auto-Operator Tab - CA Unified Infrastructure Management Probes - CA Technologies Documentation 

     

    This can be configured to run a script when a specified alarm comes in.

    I'm not sure if this is available in the SNAP version, but hopefully that page helps you out.
