  • 1.  Restore CA BOXI Reports in CABI Jaspersoft

    Hi Team,

     

    We are going for the upgrade from CA BOXI 3.3 sp1 to CABI Jaspersoft r6.2.0.

    Is there any way the currently running reports in the production environment can be restored in the newly installed CABI Jaspersoft r6.2.0? If yes, kindly provide the way it can be achieved.

    We do not offer any our of the box way to upgrade Cabi 3.x or 4.x releases to Cabi 6.2

     

    So what you are asking for, is not possible with any simple upgrades.

    Thanks for your response!

     

    There are so many customized reports currently present in the production environment and client wants all those reports to be present in Jaspersoft. To build them from scratch will take a lot of time. Is there any alternative solution for this?

    As Raghu.Rudraraju has indicated, there is no automated mechanism to convert CABI/BOXI 4.x reports to CABI JasperSoft.

     

    Please refer to the FAQ section of the original JasperSoft announcement where this is clearly indicated.
