    Hi,

Currently we are monitoring available IP-addresses on DHCP pools with ntevl-probe which reads information from DHCP Server eventlog and alarms us when the scopes are almost full.

This works great with normal DHCP pools, but not with Superscopes which includes multiple scopes. Current situation is we now have multiple alarms when the first pool on the superscope is full, although there are still addresses available on the secondary pool. Is there a way to monitor superscopes so we only get alarms when there are no addresses available on the superscope level?

    Hi Tero,

This can be accomplished using Triggers and Auto-Operators within the NAS probe.

I thought this was a great question, so I wrote up a document that goes over using Triggers and Auto-Operators.

Check that out here - TECH TIP: Example on Triggers and Auto-Operators.pptx

    Hope that helps!
