CA Productivity Accelerator (CA PA) for On Premise and On Demand Customers: Upgrade Information

CA Technologies has a new version of CA Productivity Accelerator (CA PA) Editor and we want to make you aware this upgrade is available for you. If you use, or plan to use, any of the following products you are encouraged to upgrade as it makes it easier for you to use your existing content.      

•      Microsoft Windows 10

•      Microsoft Edge browser

•      Microsoft Office 2016

•      Microsoft SQL 2016

•      Google Chrome 56

Do I have to upgrade?

No, you do not have to upgrade, but if you are using technology platforms supported by CA PA, you will need to install the Upgrade.

How do I upgrade:

Our customers can access the Knowledge Base under Support on to locate upgrade information to CA PA from any previous version.       The following is the direct link to this information: If you should encounter issues with your upgrade, please open a service request with CA Support.

Version Support

With this upgrade, CA now supports CAPA editor versions 12.1, and

CA PA PPM content developed for previous versions will be able to run on 12.1, and
