  • 1.  Why won't parent story become Accepted when all children stories are?

    We have a parent story with four children stories. All four children stories are now Accepted -- their schedule state is Accepted. But the parent story is still Completed, and we can't mark it as Accepted. If I try to set the parent story to Accepted manually, we get an error message saying: Could not set value for Schedule State: Could not set state for the parent object directly.

    How can we get this parent story to be Accepted?

    Thank you. I opened a ticket after I posted this, and got a helpful suggestion to try "moving the state back temporarily on one of the children and then back to accepted would push it along". That took care of the issue for me.
